I saw a TikTok video of someone painting over an old Goodwill find - I took that idea and spun a Halloween twist on it! For this program, it was key for me to stress to registrants that they needed to bring their own painting. I supplied paint, brushes, paint pens, and a spooky playlist. I also used the whiteboard to add a list of potential ideas that they could use to upcycle their paintings such as ghosts, bloody hand prints, cobwebs, skeletons, and other spooky things. The participants had a great time adding in their details where they could. They loved the finished product more than the original work!
